Le rapport de l'AIE sur le marché pétrolier (OMR) est reconnu comme l'une des sources de données, de prévisions et d'analyses du marché pétrolier mondial les plus fiables et les plus récentes.   Les réserves épuisées pourraient connaître une reprise dans les mois à venir.   Toutefois, les réserves de pétrole brut restent limitées, les stocks américains se situant à des niveaux historiquement bas malgré de légères augmentations des stocks d'essence et de distillats.
