Les investissements clés comprennent l'alimentation électrique à quai dans les ports, le ravitaillement en hydrogène, ainsi que les infrastructures pour l'ammoniac et le méthanol en tant que carburants marins de nouvelle génération. Preuve de la viabilité à long terme du secteur des carburants propres Le commissaire Apostolos Tzitzikostas a souligné l'importance de ces projets pour accélérer la décarbonisation et faciliter la transition vers une navigation sans émissions. Ce financement s'inscrit dans le cadre de l'effort plus large de l'UE pour intensifier la production de carburants propres, comme le souligne le rapport Draghi.
