Pourquoi cette augmentation de volume profite aux tarifs de transport maritime Cette augmentation de la production devrait : - Augmenter les volumes de brut transportés par voie maritime à court terme - Soutenir la demande de pétroliers dans les principales régions exportatrices, notamment au Moyen-Orient - Pourrait prolonger l'environnement de fret favorable jusqu'aux mois d'été Si la production continue d'augmenter en juillet, la tendance pourrait encore réduire la disponibilité des navires et améliorer les revenus, notamment pour les VLCC et Suezmax opérant sur des routes longues distances. Les réductions pourraient-elles être entièrement annulées cette année ? Le trader de Goldman, Gerald Tan, indique dans une note que la décision de l'OPEP coïncide avec "une montée des tensions géopolitiques au Moyen-Orient à la suite d'une frappe de missile Houthi sur l'aéroport principal d'Israël."
